What the product does
Amsterdam Buyer Kit helps users organize a buyer file for an apartment purchase: listing facts, cost estimates, document gaps, report data, and next actions. It is an educational and operational workflow-support tool. Users should avoid entering highly sensitive documents or unnecessary personal data.
Data we collect
- Anonymous session identifier used to keep one buyer file connected.
- Listing and property information entered or imported by the user.
- Calculator inputs, results, warning flags, and report data.
- Document checklist statuses and buyer-file gap information.
- Toolkit access requests, waitlist-style lead records, feedback, and contact forms.
- Internal product events, including first-party guide/report page and CTA events, attribution data if present, technical logs, and security/admin logs.
Why we use data
- Provide the Buyer File tool and remember anonymous sessions.
- Generate reports, next actions, and missing-item summaries.
- Handle toolkit access, support, feedback, and data-rights requests.
- Improve reliability and understand product usage.
- Prevent abuse, protect admin areas, and maintain service security.
Legal bases draft
The draft legal bases are: performance of the requested service for core buyer-file functionality; legitimate interests for basic security, reliability, abuse prevention, and internal product analytics; consent where required, especially email marketing or non-essential tracking; and legal obligation where applicable.
Retention draft
Anonymous buyer-file and session data is kept while the session remains active and should be periodically cleaned up. Waitlist, toolkit, feedback, and contact requests are kept until handled or until deletion is requested, subject to reasonable business or legal needs. Internal analytics should be aggregated or deleted after a defined period where possible. Logs should use short operational retention. Retention automation is pending.
Sharing and processors
Data may be processed by service providers that run the app, such as Render for hosting and database infrastructure. GitHub is used for code repository and CI and is not intended to process buyer-file user data. Transactional email delivery is disabled by default and only supported through reviewed configuration. No payment provider is integrated yet. If real email delivery or payments are enabled later, this policy and the processor register must be reviewed first.
International transfers
Some infrastructure providers may involve non-EU companies or processing outside the European Economic Area. Appropriate safeguards and vendor terms must be reviewed before broad launch.
Your rights
Depending on the situation, EU/AVG rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent where consent is used. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.Amsterdam Buyer Kit does not yet provide instant self-service rights tooling, so use the contact form.
